I've decided to move my blogging activities over to Wordpress.  Please check out my new blog  and don't forget to update your readers.  Oh, and as added enticement I have lots of new posts to check out,  I have been catching up.

Fun Day

We headed down to the zoo today with some friends and had a blast.  First time I have had 3 car seats in my truck.  It worked out quite nicely.

And someone was so tuckered out that I managed to get a blanket sewn up for a friend's new baby. I am loving how the turtles turned out.  Just a simple cotton print backed with minky and then I free motioned traced some of the turtles.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Finished

I finished up the giant quilt last night.  I am pleased with how it turned out and am thrilled to have it done.  It is very hard to get a good picture but here are a few.  And even better Keith really likes it.  I hope he doesn't get any ideas about more quilts in this size.

Quilting Along

DONE!!!!  I have been working on the giant for our bed quite a bit this week and managed to finish up the free motion quilting and now just have to get the binding done.  Keith and I even agree on the fabric we would like,  I just hope I can pick up a bit more.  Fingers crossed.  I am pretty please with how it is turning out and I even like the back.  Pardon the poor pictures,  no natural light.

Fun

Lots of fun today...bags are always entertaining, playground fun and riding around the neighborhood.

Butterflies

We met some friends at the Butterfly Pavilion today.  In the four years we have lived here this was our first trip.  It was lots of fun.  Keith managed the spiders and I took the starfish. 

Dirt Track Fun

I had no idea there was a dirt bike track on the Brunner House land.  We had a great time running the bumps after the toddler group today.

Happy Easter

It is with a heavy heart...

that we had to say goodbye.  Panda, we will miss you always.
