Rosemary is supposed to overwinter nicely even up here but mine keeps dying along about March so this year I've done it in a pot and will bring it inside around December before the big chill. The thyme always does nicely in the garden but tarragon and cilantro always bolt so those ones I tend to buy. Still, nothing like having them right at home!

Are those recycled cans or are they special planters? They look great!

Your posts always make me want to be a visitor, sitting in your kitchen with a glass of sumthin' sumthin' chatting and knitting. You set a good scene in your writing.
